Big Fish

1. The phrase " a big fish in a small pond" means that the pond can barely fit the fish.

2. He told the tale as he wanted to attract attention , depict himself as a hero and because he thought everyone liked listening to the story.

3.When William Bloom was a boy, he found the story interesting and liked it when his father told him the story. As he grew older, he started to feel that it was gradually getting boring and could remember every punchline and could tell the story as good as his father. He felt his dad was embarrassing himself by coming up with such a unrealistic story.

4. In the story, the day he caught the fish was the day his son was born.

5. The tale reveals that the relationship between Edward and WIlliam Bleam is very close.

6. None. People will doubt the trueness of the story as some parts does not make any sense.

7. Yes. Yes. Tall tales are tales that will never ever happen or will only happen once in a blue moon. People will think twice b4 believing it and they will doubt it.
