Curriculum of Identity

1. Factors includes how do I see myself as and how do I believe people see me as. Identity changes over time according to your enviroment and some of it is determined at birth like your gender, appearance.

When we walk in parallel with or against others, being our choice or not, our identity is shaped. It's how we stand out in a crowd. And the aspects of one's identity are based on appearance, personality, character, intelligence, occupation, etc., etc. Outside group perception of us individually, we have our personal perception that directly affects us. Our identity is then defined by how we think we fit in to the world around us, and how we feel we stand out (positively and negatively).

Chinese New Year Memory

My favourite memory of Chinese New Year was when I received the biggest Ang Bao in my life. In terms of size and the money inside it ^^. It was a bit smaller than half a fullscap paper and contained a bunch of 10 dollar notes containing 200++ dollars! It was given to me by my aunt who works in the Plastic industry, collecting scrap plastic and making them into recycled plastic before selling oversea for alot of money. I was surprise as she gave my other cousins the usual amount of 10 dollars. It was after I went home that I discovered my father had been working with my aunt and earned quite a huge amount of money.

Comic E-Learning

1. I used Watermelons becourse it is a very heavy fruit. I also used this background as it was the only outdoor background which shows a road and sidewalk as bullying cases happens often here.
2.The background image gives the comic a European feel. The bully is Muscular to show that he is the bully and the victim is skinny and smaller to show that he could not defend himself.
3. I used words like "STOP THROWING AT ME" to show that the victim did not like watermelons landing on him. The bully's speech in the 1st speech bubble shows that he did not cared about the victim. The speech bubbles help me to deliver a better understanding to the people looking at this comic

Learning goal for this year in LA

I want to understand the litirature book ' To Kill A Mocking Bird ' better by the end of this year. Its a top selling book and i feel there are alot of things and morals to learn from this book if i understand it weel enough. I also would like to improve my Short Story aas it was the component which pulled my grade down by alot. The other section of LA which i am not confident of is Summary. It has no standard answer like Math and no one knows which point should we write down. It wort of depends alot on luck to me. Even though I did well in it last year, I hope i will be able to grasp the key to getting the main points everytime without doubt.

2. Have you ever been part of a group of people who were unkind to one or some individuals? What was the circumstance? How did you act? What did you fe

Yes. In 2010 at around February, The whole class hold a ( Campain ) against Shu Ming because he always sort of spin his hand when he talks and keep stammering.
Without me knowing, I just joined the group and make fun of him despite knowing that it was wrong. Slowly as months go past, I knew how to differentiate between right and wrong. I stopped making fun of Shu Ming and did side with him a bit. But the mastermind,( cant name him ) just keep making fun of him even till now. I think that this isnt the right way to communicate with friends and the mastermind should not do those things to anyone if he do not like people to do it to him too. Now even though Shu Ming is still acting a bit funny with his funny habits, we should just learn to accept it and not criticising him and making fun of him. We should advise him to change so that he would not be ridiculed by others next time.
Now the culprit has other victims too like Zheng Yan because he always play handphone will walking home. I do hope the culprit will change for the better.

Song which left the biggest impact on me

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gQlf8yc9wg
This video gave me the inspiration to play the game ssf and make me improve so much so that im now even better than the guy in the video. This is also the only song that has left an impact on me. Now even when i am playing the game, I still ALWAYS listen to this song. I also do listen to this song when doing homework sometimes ;)
It just makes me able to concentrate more and do things more precisely.

The most valuable thing i learned last year in LA.

I learned how to read literature and poems and examine them carefully which I had never done in primary school. I found Literature more interesting and full of description etc. We could examine sentences which actually have hidden meanings in them to better understand the story. In primary school, i just read it like a story book and could not understand the sstory as well. I loved reading storybooks since I Primary 3 and this skill that i learnt last year will improve my reading experience.

In Primary school, I thought poem was just a junk of words which are easy to understand. But in fact, it has alot hidden expressions and stuff which can change the whole meaning of the poem.

My favourite book!

The best book i read last year that i could remember is " Mr. Mystery, The Mystery of the Seventh Sword " The story is about Mr Tarquin Tarn receives pictures of swords arriving at different times and gets a threat that he will die when the picture of the seventh sword arrives. Sinchita, one of the investigators, slips into a coma after being cut by a poisoned envelope sent by The Snake which is meant for Alvin. I like the story because every part of the story is exciting and interesting!

1. The phrase " a big fish in a small pond" means that the pond can barely fit the fish.

2. He told the tale as he wanted to attract attention , depict himself as a hero and because he thought everyone liked listening to the story.

3.When William Bloom was a boy, he found the story interesting and liked it when his father told him the story. As he grew older, he started to feel that it was gradually getting boring and could remember every punchline and could tell the story as good as his father. He felt his dad was embarrassing himself by coming up with such a unrealistic story.

4. In the story, the day he caught the fish was the day his son was born.

5. The tale reveals that the relationship between Edward and WIlliam Bleam is very close.

6. None. People will doubt the trueness of the story as some parts does not make any sense.

7. Yes. Yes. Tall tales are tales that will never ever happen or will only happen once in a blue moon. People will think twice b4 believing it and they will doubt it.
