The decision toassassinate bin Laden rather than bringing him to trail was a justified one. There are already enough concrete evidence to show that he did commit many crimes, more than enough evidence to jail him for life or life sentence him. He is also the leader of the JI, the biggest terrorizing group that has killed many people over the years. By killing him immediately without any trail, it would give Osama no chance to escape during the trail or after the trail. For the safety of everyone, killing Osama immediately was the best choice. One example of a terrorist escaping and posing danger was Mas Selamat. He escaped from Singapore's jail to Malaysia despite high security and was planning on a mission to bomb Singapore. In conclusion, for the safety of the majority, assassinating Osama was the right thing to do.
